Our client is a global giant in the manufacturing of personal care and home care categories and have been growing exponentially since expanding their operations to Australia. They have identified a need for a dynamic and professional individual capable to handle a diverse range of activities within their small team environment.

As the Office Administrator, you will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for the following duties:

  • Day to day general office administration including - answering phones, e-mail, mail, welcoming visitors, travel & expenses, file maintenance, stationary orders, sample receipt and postage, office utilities.
  • Co-ordinate information required to complete Product Specifications for customers.
  • Co-ordinate information required to assist the management of product launches.
  • Support the business development team, and ensure all communication is clear and succinct, and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Support the day to day management of projects i.e. follow up on outstanding matters, co-ordinate information required to complete tenders.
  • Order processing and Invoice Data entry, when required and in periods of absence/holidays.
  • General up keep of office including sample area maintenance.
  • Database management – create and maintain process documents.
  • Attend to customer queries when required, within the customer's time frame and maintain records.
  • Assist in the research and briefing to manufacturing sites/fragrance houses for new projects.
  • Support the production/checking artwork process for product launches.
  • Provide timely and accurate information to relevant parties internal and external.
  • Complete store audits, as necessary.

In order to be considered for the role you will need:

  • Intermediate level computer skills, particularly MS Office (you will be tested for MS Excel)
  • High data entry accuracy.
  • Good communication (written and verbal).
  • Experience with Xero or Sage Software (not essential but would be highly regarded).
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Customer service experience would be beneficial.
  • Previous Office Administration.
  • Supply Chain experience would be beneficial (not essential).
