An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Inventory Support Officer to join a dynamic and hardworking procurement team on a full-time basis. This growing and diverse organization who strives to maintain a friendly, professional approach with all customers, will work in an environment where initiative and autonomy are encouraged.

The purpose of this role is to maintain the stock file for effective inventory control/tracking of the individual products.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Stockfile maintenance - additions, deletions, and product updates.
  • Execute processes & tasks associated with item setup & maintenance including cost updates and & other duties.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure you have the necessary data for new item loads & load those items to required specifications and timelines.
  • Load promotions as instructed by marketing team for internal and external stores.
  • Liaise with suppliers to get the latest product lists and update the system.
  • Action barcode and price updates from stores.
  • Respond to store/internal queries.
  • Trouble shooting all issues and seek help if/and where required.

Position Criteria:

  • Experience in Inventory Management
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
  • High attention to detail

  • Clear communication/interpersonal skills.

  • Teamwork
  • Ability to work autonomously without supervision
