Strukton Rail Australia are currently looking for an experienced Admin Assistant. 

In this role you will be required to work on various tasks, as required, to support our Directors and growing office team. 

The successful candidate will be creative and energetic and be looking for long term growth opportunities.  You will be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritize daily tasks and use initiative to determine where assistance can be provided.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Management of all incoming calls
  • Greeting clients and visitors to the office
  • Management and distribution of mail, deliveries and office emails
  • Management of our filing and archiving system
  • Maintaining the office environment, setting up meeting rooms, ordering stationery and kitchen supplies
  • Word document, spreadsheet and presentation formatting
  • Data entry of accounts payable invoices into XERO accounting software
  • Travel bookings
  • Assisting the Directors as required
  • Assisting the Office Administrator with all round office duties as required

Requirements to be successful:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Previous office or team administration experience
  • Microsoft Office software experience with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills to work closely with internal and external contacts to deliver daily tasks
  • Comply with all company and client safety obligations, policies and procedures.
