The Finance Brokers Association of Australia Limited (FBAA) is a leading professional body representing finance brokers nationally. FBAA currently represents more than 8,000 members nationally and continues to grow.

About the role

This position reports to the General Manager and is part of the Membership Team and is responsible for processing membership renewals in an accurate and timely manner, providing a high level of customer service at all times.

Duties and responsibilities of the role include:

  • Processing a high volume of membership renewals in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensuring each membership renewal meets compliance requirements
  • Answering phone and email enquiries
  • Updating and maintaining the membership database, ensuring a high level of data integrity at all times
  • Uploading documentation to the membership database
  • Communicating with existing members regarding the status of their membership renewal and providing advice and assistance as necessary
  • Issuing membership certificates
  • Administrative duties associated with the membership department
  • Providing back-up support for the reception and administration role including answering the phones, processing mail and all associated administrative duties
  • Presenting a positive and professional image of FBAA at all times
  • Any other duties as required from time-to-time

About You

  • Experience with the processing of memberships or applications is essential
  • Experience working with Salesforce would be favourable but is not essential
  • Experience with managing a membership database would be favourable but not essential
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, work independently, as well as learn new things and take direction easily
  • Good computer literacy with email and google suite, Excel and Word would also be advantageous
  • An amazing hardworking attitude, genuine care for people, customer service and a good level of emotional intelligence
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • Personal drive to succeed, learn and grow

Conditions

Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with a 1 hour lunch break.
