About the business

St George Heart Centre located in Kogarah is a full service cardiology centre including state of the art consultation and diagnostic facilities.  It aims to provide the highest international standards in cardiac care to patients from South Sydney and beyond. The clinic is a sister Consulting Suite / Cardiac Laboratory to the Hurstville Heart Centre located in Hurstville Private Hospital.

About the role

Reporting to the Practice Manager, we are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist in a full time position.  The role will include but is not limited to:

• Meeting and greeting patients
• Responding to all patient enquiries
• Making appointments and answering incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner
• Billing – Medicare, patient accounts and banking
• Assisting the Practice Manager in all facets of the business

Essential Criteria

• Must have a minimum of 2 years previous Medical reception/secretarial experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Outstanding customer service attributes
• Excellent computer skills (incl. Word or Excel)
• Friendly, professional phone manner
• Attention to detail
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• The ability to work as part of a team and autonomously

Desirable Criteria

• Healthtrack software experience
• Eclipse billing
