We are a 4 partner, 20 staff accounting and business advisory firm based in Moonee Ponds. We are known for our outstanding client service, business and tax knowledge, and ability to deliver great results for our clients.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Corporate Compliance Administrator to manage ASIC and ATO documents processing, information and lodgements as well as perform other administration tasks.

This role will suit a motivated, upbeat and passionate person. This role is critical to supporting the partners and staff. You will be working amongst a team of enthusiastic professionals who will value your support and contribution.  

About The Role

Tasks included but not limited too are:

  • Preparation, co-ordination and processing of ASIC Company Statements including invoicing and minutes
  • Processing of all ASIC lodgements, including company registrations, shares transfers, shareholders, company address and name updates, de-registrations, minutes, share certificates
  • Be responsible for new corporate registers to be signed, stamped and added to BGL CAS 360
  • Company and Title searches
  • Entering payments received in Time and Billing
  • Scanning of all lodgements and filing in correct registers
  • Mail incoming and outgoing registers
  • Updating and maintaining company archive and filing corporate records
  • Client correspondence
  • Updating company database with client-related information
  • Preparation of invoices, engagement letters and ethical letters
  • Corresponding with ATO and processing related matters on ATO Tax Agent Portal
  • Experience using Handisoft.
  • Assisting the accounting team – drawing up documents, following up with clients and some reporting
  • General administration and office support, e.g. filing, copying, scanning, collating, binding etc.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within an accounting practice
  • Be familiar with ASIC portal, forms and requirements
  • Have attention to detail and be able to prioritise between multiple tasks
  • Be Proactive and able to work autonomously 
  • Have exceptional customer service skills and a positive "can do attitude"
  • Have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Have experience using BGL CAS 360 and Handisoft
