A bit about the role
This is a great opportunity to join the national Merchandising team at Bunnings as the Supplier Rebate Coordinator. You will work alongside the wider merchandise business function to ensure that trading terms and rebates are managed and executed.
Key areas of the role include:
- Trading terms – you will manage the trading term processes for new accounts, renewal and auditing, providing advice and support to buyers in regard to the negotiation of disputed terms and conditions
- Rebate – you will implement and execute processes and procedures to ensure rebates collected in line with trading term agreements
- Allocation – you will coordinate the supplier stock allocation processes, supporting the wider team and suppliers with any issues that arise
- Team – coordinate and manage a team to ensure efficient and effective execution of processes and procedures.
- Training – you will provide training and support to the wider Merchandise team in relation to supplier trading tasks
A bit about you..
You’re a people person whose negotiation and influencing skills allow you to communicate with internal and external stakeholders across all levels with a desire and proven ability to coach, manage and lead others. You have previous experience in roles in which you demonstrated some analytical and financial skills, working in a team environment and autonomously, focusing on a number of projects at any given time.
Some of your key skill areas include
- Tertiary qualification in a related field preferred but not essential
- Skilled in Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in Merchandising preferred looked upon favourably
- High level of confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving, prioritising and organisation skills
- A collaborative team orientated approach
