About the role
The position of Rostering Administrator is to be the first point of contact for all rostering and enquiries from clients and support workers for the provision of individualised services provided by genU Individual Support Services. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide effective and efficient day-to-day rostering support to clients, families and carers
- Maintain an environment that promotes security and encourages clients to engage in activities that enhance their social, physical and emotional wellbeing
- Provide effective and efficient rostering of support workers- ensuring compliance of safe working practices and manual handling procedures
- Maintain accurate records of all clients and employees
Qualifications Required
- Minimum Certificate III in Disability/Aged services or other qualification and/or experience relevant to the field of human services
Essential Criteria
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a wide range of people and situations.
- The ability to be flexible to the changing workload and demands, whilst showing resilience.
- Experience in rostering procedures, with the ability to provide the highest Client service whilst maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with all Client records and information.
- Well-developed computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office products; including Word and Excel, and Internet and email applications.
- An ability to work as a part of a dynamic team and autonomously and with other multi-disciplined teams within the Organisation in a consistent and professional manner.
- Comprehensive understanding of safe work practices, OH&S guidelines and regulations
