Do you love sales and admin work but are sick of just sitting in an office or standing on the sales floor and doing the same thing over and over?

We are seeking a Person who:

  • Loves Sales and is interested in finding the right product for their customer
  • Is goal orientated and will keep business goals in mind but not at the expense of the customer (an enduring relationship is more important than one sale)
  • Delivers excellent organisation and accuracy in the office
  • Is willing to help in the production area as needed (which won’t be often)

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Sales to walk in customers
  • Use of Xero to create Sales Invoices, Bills and complete other basic tasks
  • Processing, preparing and dispatching our on-line orders
  • Attending our stall at a weekly Farmers Market in Brisbane’s CBD on Wednesdays
  • Prioritising needs of customers and suppliers to deliver customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining relationships with our team, customers, suppliers and our network
  • General administration duties
  • Light food service production duties when required
  • Adherence to policies and procedures

To be considered for this role, you will be required to demonstrate:

  • Sales ability (you have it or you don’t)
  • Commitment to enthusiastically working hard (IE A great work ethic)
  • Ability to understand simple instructions and to follow them (if you’re not sure you have this ability check with someone who knows you well and is honest with you, they will tell you)
  • You can explain things simply (again, check with someone who knows you well and is honest)
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills (again, you have it or you don’t)
  • Professional communication (your application will tell us)
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Adequate computer skills including an ability to perform with reasonable speed and good accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team (we need you to be a self-starter and to get on with others)
  • Have no problems moving between jobs and roles
  • Possess a positive, resilient and focused attitude (not be a sook) 😊

 

The role is casual (at least to begin with). Therefore, hours will vary. It is our hope to provide you with a minimum of 20 hours per week and up to 38 hours on some weeks.
