About BCYF

Barwon Child, Youth & Family (BCYF) is an independent, not-for-profit community service organisation that provides, delivers and develops services, where the need exists, that advance the rights and well-being of children, young people and their families.

BCYF has a breadth of services ranging from prevention and early intervention, to complex care, which are delivered via a significant client services platform. BCYF is also the parent company of its subsidiary 'BAYSA', a registered housing provider of a range of accommodation and community support programs.

About the Role

Based in Colac, the Administration Support and Reception Officer position will provide high quality customer focused reception on service to BCYF's internal and external stakeholders, as well as undertake support duties as required.

These positions will be primarily based at our Colac office however may be required to work at any of our BCYF office locations as required.

These part-time positions will work as a job share arrangement rotating between morning and afternoon shifts of 9am to 1pm and 1pm to 5pm.

About You

To be successful in the role you will have:

  • A minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role required. Qualifications in administration, business field or equivalent (Certificate III or higher) is a plus
  • MS Office software training and/or evidence of proficiency in Office products
  • Advanced customer service skills demonstrated by working as a key part of a team within a professional workplace environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills (telephone, reception)
