Hudson is a leader in the supply of permanent, temporary and contract office support staff. We are currently recruiting an Education & Events Administrator for an Education provider based south of the river. This is a 3 temporary contract with the potential to extend for the right candidate. This is a part time role over four days per week.
The Position
This role requires a natural organiser with a keen eye for logistics and attention to detail. The Education & Events Administrator will be liaising not only with program participants, but with academics, corporate partners and internal support functions. Your hands-on approach together with a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver results, will ensure your success in this fast paced role.
Key Duties
- Coordinate education workshops, events and conferences; book venues and speakers
- Administer client attendance, engagement and feedback process
- Ongoing contact for all clients
- Data base management; client, facilitator and speaker details
- Diary, email and travel management
- Preparation of education materials and resources
- Provide administrative support to the broader team as required
- Attend events and activities as required
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Attributes, Skills & Experience
- Energetic and driven coordinator who loves dealing with people
- Experience planning and coordinating workshops or events
- Confident speaking in front of large groups of clients
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proactive planner with resourcefulness to ensure schedule timelines
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills at a senior level
- A passion for excellence in customer service
- High attention to detail and understanding of quality work output
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to competing and changing timelines
- Show initiative and resourcefulness in problem solving
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a close team
- Advanced IT skills across platforms such as customer data bases and online forms
