About the role

This position is responsible for monitoring and reporting on the financial progress of projects, investigating variances, coding and processing of invoices and assisting with vendor queries. This position assists with compliance of project financial and administrative processes and is a key player in the evolution of new initiatives to support our store projects and our project teams. What you will do

  • Capex reconciliation/management, reporting
  • Vendor Invoice G/L allocation and Approval
  • Project Expense monitoring/reporting
  • Project on-charging
  • Competitor database management
  • General administration support, meeting minutes/actions
  • System File Management

What you will bring

  • Experience with financial metrics such as calculating project balances, budget vs. actual costs, expense assignments, identifying variances etc
  • Sound administration skill set and experience with both accounts payable and receivable is compulsory
  • Experience in financial platforms such as AX
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in a Project/Financial Administator/Coordinator role is preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in communication of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective time management skills, an ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload
  • Can do attitude and a passion to learn
