BH & CN Findlay Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated dairy farm which supplies pure, quality milk and dairy products to feed the world. Our milk is turned into premium quality Australian dairy products which are sold and used both locally and internationally. Our products make a difference to the lives of the people who purchase them. 2 million - that's the number of coffees that are sold each day in Australia. Australians love coffee and we have the perfect white stuff to go with the beloved brown beverage. it all starts right her and you can become involved.

From small beginnings in 1939, the Findlay family runs a 400-cow herd using simple systems that focus on growing pasture, feeding the herd profitably and getting cows in calf. We are passionate about what we do, continually innovate and set high standards for ourselves and our team. A large part of the attraction is the fact that our farm is located in one of the most scenic spots in the Upper Murray. The views are amazing.  The crystal-clear water of the Murray River in summer, snow-capped mountains in the distance during winter, and green grass growing under your feet throughout the year, make this a fabulous setting for outdoor work.

Job tasks and responsibilities

No two days are the same. You will undertake a variety of tasks throughout the seasons. This hands-on role will see you harvesting high quality milk on a daily basis, bringing new life into the world, rearing calves and caring for cows at every stage of their lactation. There is also ample opportunity to work with machinery when feeding out, assisting with irrigation, spreading fertiliser, making round bale silage in spring and setting up break fences in the paddocks. You will work with modern dairy facilities and technology, an outstanding calf rearing shed and modern machinery.

The farm is well developed with one central laneway, water in every paddock, fertile soils, reliable rainfall and irrigation water supply. This makes it an ideal place to grow grass for our cows to graze. You'll be continually learning and innovating in every aspect of this role.

You will be well supported by Brett, Chrisanya and their experienced team members including Herd Manager and Pasture and Maintenance Manager. We have created a culture where everyone is working towards to getting the daily tasks done on time and as a leader in time management you will contribute to this initiative.
