About the role:
We are looking for a Recreation Project Officer who will be involved in the planning, coordination and monitoring of OOSH, recreation and peer support provisions to meet the individual needs of participants. It will include developing activities for Recreation and OOSH programs, rostering of shifts, support and supervision of Disability Support Workers and liaising with carers, families and program facilitators.
What we are looking for:
- Genuine desire to provide the best quality care for people with disabilities
- Excellent communication and proven computer skills
- Initiative and drive to work independently as well as part of a team
- Demonstrated awareness of disability issues
- Drivers licence
- Working with Children Check
- Cleared Criminal Record Check obtained within 12 months
