About the Role
Our community support worker role is personally rewarding as you are contributing to help improve the quality of life of a number of individuals
- Provide individual support to people with disability and mental health issues to enable them to undertake all aspects of daily living
- Assist individuals who demonstrate challenging behaviours to achieve their goals
- Influencing and encouraging independence for community integration
Key Requirements
- Passionate in supporting people to enhance their lives and independence
- Strong team focus
- Proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously
- Cert 111 in Disability or equivalent is desirable
- Experience working with people with complex support needs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Sound computer skills
Additional Requirements
The following requirements are essential for working with our organisation, therefore all applicants must be willing to obtain if not already held
- National Police Check obtained within the last 6 months
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Working with Children Check
