  • Not for profit Provider of Community Aged Care Packages.
  • Some travel across Melbourne Western suburbs will be required,
  • Part time role, 3 days per week initially

 

The organisation:

National provider of Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services, with various sites in the Melbourne Metro area.

The position:

The Quality Co-ordinator will be  responsible for leading and facilitating continuous quality improvement activities under the direction of the CACP Manager to maintain 100% compliance with the Home Care Standards and the Aged Care Act 1997

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Maintain a quality system that is compliant with Home care Package guidelines and TSA mission, values and policies and other relevant legislation and industry standards
  • All mandatory training requirements are met by all staff
  • Gaps between accreditation standards and program practices are identified
  • Monitor updates of funding requirements and legislation.
  • Ensuring staff are supported around the understanding of policy and procedures.
  • Creating an annual activity plan
  • Undertaking audits and completing audit reports.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Home Care Packaged guidelines and aged care accreditation standards
  • Completion of approved accreditation course through LASA/ACSA or other similiar provider
  • Experience using Carelink +
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current police clearance
  • Current drivers licence
