We are looking for a home care professional to join our team!
If successful, you will be working with a Male Quadriplegic client living in Teneriffe who requires home care.
This casual work is suited to a local carer who is available to work 2-3 morning and evening shifts per week, each shift being approximately 3 hours long with potential for an ongoing roster.
This work would suit someone looking for additional casual work to supplement an existing job.
Working for ACA Care & Ability will also give you the ability to provide care for our other existing clients.
Availability most mornings from 7.00am-10.30am is essential.
Duties include assistance with showering, toileting, dressing, transferring to/from bed to commode/wheelchair and some light domestic duties (vacuuming, cleaning, dishes, preparing breakfast etc.)
Criteria:
- Experience working within homecare
- Manual handling experience using a floor hoist
- Ability to use initiative for domestic duties
- All updated certificates such as First Aid, CPR, police check (or willing to obtain)
- Clear communicator
