Team Leader Supported Accommodation
Able Australia, a national not-for-profit support provider operating for over 50 years, has opportunities in Melbourne for Team Leaders in our supported accommodation houses. We want people with initiative, self-motivation and confidence to join us and lead a team of dedicated professionals who provide specialised care for people with multiple disabilities to live a life of choice
We are looking for exceptional people who with are confident, enthusiastic, willing to step up and take responsibility for the successful delivery of services and support for our residents in supported accommodation houses.
Team leaders are the critical link for Able connecting our residents their families and our staff. To be successful in this role ideally we believe you will have :
- excellent understanding of active support principles and their application in developing Person Centred Plans
- experience and confidence in working autonomously with minimal supervision
- knowledge of how to Coordinate support services and/or community activities for the people we support
- willingness to learn new systems and implement change processes as required
- strong communication skills with experience providing supervision, coaching and mentoring of direct reports
To be eligible for these positions you must provide evidence of your right to work in Australia, and obtain a clear Police Check (National and/or International if required).
