The Smith Family is looking for a Program Manager with a commitment to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls and other girls in Bairnsdale to achieve through education. The position is based at a school. You will be responsible for leading the program implementation and the Girls at the Centre team.
The Girls at the Centre Program is at aimed at removing the barriers to education faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls and other girls through:
- Improved school attendance, participation and retention
- Improved positive relationships with family, peers and community stakeholders
- Improved social and emotional wellbeing and resilience
- Communities, schools and workplaces that support girls
The Program Manager will have strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality implementation. You need to have the ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, including the participating girls and their families, the local community and the school.
