Diversitat is looking to recruit a Multicultural Mental Health and Wellbeing Worker to work with new arrivals and mental health service providers to support the development of mental health literacy and build capacity to access and understand the mental health system, services and supports. Working with partner organisations you will identify and respond to the mental health information needs of new arrival communities, implement strategies to achieve mental health and wellbeing outcomes, provide cultural competency training and offer secondary consultations regarding cultural practice.
To be successful you will have proven cross cultural experience, a sound understanding of key settlement issues, demonstrated experience in program planning and the relevant Tertiary Qualification & experience in Health/Human Services.
This is a part time position for 28 hours per week.
