About the role
The successful applicant will be:
- Working with families to assist in a parenting capacity to reduce the risk of engagement with the OOHC process
- Assessing risk of harm levels to ensure child protection outcomes are maintained
- Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes with the client always at the centre of the process

Skills and experience
The successful applicant will have with at least 1 years' experience in Child Protection related environments to support at risk children and their families through this early intervention related program.
Additionally he/she will:
- have a Bachelor's Degree in social work, community services,psychology or related field.
- be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of child protection issues, key risk factors and the effect of trauma on childhood development.
- have a strong knowledge of relevant child protection legislation and mandatory reporting procedures.
- possess a Valid Driver's License.
