The Manager, Youth Programs is responsible for leading a team of client-focused professionals in the delivery of a portfolio of programs to meet the needs, goals and aspirations of teenagers and young adults with a disability. You will contribute to and support the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of our flagship products services in the Sydney region and growth areas; facilitate and support your team through change; actively assist your team with service development activities; and support your team members to develop their own solutions to issues that arise. Additional management and administrative tasks will include appraising performance, statistical analysis, report-writing and budget preparation.

This role is a fulltime permanent position. The role is located in Allambie Heights and you will be required to travel within the Sydney Metropolitan area.

What will you bring to the role? 

  • advanced skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, administration, decision-making
  • a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (or willingness to obtain), or equivalent experience or qualification.
  • minimum 2 years experience working with youth
  • intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • a good understanding of the rights of people with a disability
  • a commitment to making a difference in individuals’ lives
  • current driver’s licence
  • the ability to travel within the Sydney Metropolitan area as required.
  • Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain upon joining
