The Role: We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our Brisbane team, to provide home care for our aged clients based around the Logan region, specifically around Eagleby to Browns Plains Regions. This is a casual position to start with and has the possibility of leading to something more permanent . You will deliver different services based on the clients' individual care plans. We can help you build an exciting career with an organisation that recognises, trains, supports and rewards you for what you love to do.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Personal care assistance
- Household domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Companionship and shopping
- Transport to Doctor and other appointments
Essential:
- Caring for the aged passion and good active listening skills
- Cert III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Community Care or equivelant (desirable)
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Flexible availability
- Roadworthy and clean vehicle
- Current Driver's Licence
- National Police Certificate (or willingness to get one)
