The position would suit a highly motivated and organised person with an engaging personality and the ability to deliver high quality face to face services to our clients and to employers from all sectors of the local labour market. 

Duties include:

  • In consultation with clients develop, implement, monitor and review employment plans to assist them to achieve their goals
  • Actively assist individual clients with their job search efforts via conventional avenues as well cold canvasing, reverse marketing and supporting them during job interviews.
  • Promote the service to employers and ensure they informed of the support and assistance available to the workplace when employing a worker with disability
  • Where necessary assist employers to develop duty statements that meet the needs of both the worker and the workplace
  • Assess the level of training and support each worker will require to succeed in employment, develop, document individual training plans, and provide the initial on the job training.
  • Maintain regular contact with employers, assist with resolving any workplace issues that arise and provide support to other staff if required
  • Ensure that all administration tasks including data entry and agency documentation is completed accurately and on time meeting compliance requirements.

Successful applicants must have or be willing to obtain a Police Clearance, a NT Working with Children card (Ochre card), and a Drivers License.
