Reporting to the Supported Employee Coordinator (Commercial Enterprises), the Training and Support Officer will operate within our Commercial Enterprises initially located at our Reynella facility, however there may be a requirement to work at one of our other sites from time to time. This exciting role is primarily responsible for the coordination of training within a processing environment and the training, development and support of our supported employees.
The Training and Support Officer is also responsible for ensuring the business meets disability compliance and quality requirements in accordance with The Disability Services Act and Commercial Enterprises strategic direction and operational business plan.
To be successful in this role you will be a positive influence and engage effectively with other team members to achieve operational KPI’s with the ability to influence and communicate training and support needs back to the business.
Knowledge and Experience
- Working within Disability Support or Age Care Industry
- Working with Supported Employees
- Previous mentoring/training role in a production or manufacturing environment
- Packaging or Manufacturing Industry
- Working in a not-for-profit organisation
- Training and Development Certification (desirable, or willing to obtain)
Your ability to demonstrate a high level of patience working with people with disability, in addition to working in a production environment, will be highly regarded.
