Carpentry Trainer
Are you passionate about providing training & support to young people so they have the skills needed to be successful in a trade Apprenticeship?
Do you recall the challenges of learning the skills and knowledge necessary to become a tradesman and want to help young people get through this?
Are you looking at putting down the hammer, hanging up the work boots to come and train young people?

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified trainer with extensive experience within the industry to deliver training through face to face delivery in Certificate III in Carpentry across North Queensland, off-site and in the workplace.
To be considered for this role, applicants will require the following;
- Certificate IV TAE40116 (or TAE40110 and be working towards the upgrade)
- Relevant trade qualifications in Carpentry;
- Relevant and current industry knowledge and experience;
- High level communication and interpersonal skills;
- A positive can do attitude; and
- Valid 'C' Class Driver Licence
- Current Working with Children Blue card would be advantageous (or willing to obtain)
Provided as a tool for trade, you will also be issued a company vehicle available for limited personal use.
Salary can be negotiated for the right person.
