Are you seeking to expand your skills and experiences in infrastructure planning and coordination? This may be the opportunity you are looking for. The Principal Project Officer role is responsible for research, analysis and evaluation of complex issues related to delivering infrastructure projects throughout Queensland. You will need to be able to deliver projects to deadlines and be able to liaise and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.

As the Principal Project Officer, Infrastructure Strategy, you will support the planning and implementation of the regional infrastructure plans and the Advancing our Training Infrastructure (AOTI) election commitment for the state-owned training infrastructure.

You will support the management of the overall planning, coordination, procurement, execution and control of the Advancing our Training Infrastructure (AOTI) program across Queensland to ensure achievement of benefits and objectives within budget and schedule requirements.

In this role you will support the Executive Director, Strategic Advisory to maximise the government's return on investment in vocational education and training infrastructure.

The role will require knowledge of infrastructure planning and asset management, and the ability to apply these in accordance with legislative and government frameworks in a vocational education and training context.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver projects to deadlines, demonstrate problem solving skills and the ability to establish good systems and processes, and to liaise and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders.
