The Civil Contractors Federation is the peak industry body for the civil construction industry. Our training division, Civil Train (RTO 5708), is currently recruiting for an experienced Trainer and Assessors in North Queensland to deliver training to our clients and members in the civil construction industry.
We are looking for committed and energetic people who have:
- Currency; a minimum of five years relevant work experience in the civil construction industry.
- A Certificate III (or equivalent) in one or more of the following:
- Road Construction and Maintenance
- Bridge Construction and Maintenance
- Pipe Laying
- Plant Operations
- Foundations Work
- Bituminous Surfacing
- Surface Extraction
- Work Health and Safety
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
- Working with Children Check (Positive Notice Blue Card)
A complete range of skills to enable success in the role including:
- Thorough industry and content knowledge
- Strong administration and reporting skills
- Top quality communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to problem solve and make sound decisions
- A high level of professionalism
- Excellent time management skills and self-motivation
- Good working level of computer skills
- Ability to travel away for work
In addition, the following qualifications would be highly desirable but not essential:
- Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Civil Construction Operations or Civil Construction Supervision
