Murdock Education Recruitment has been approached to work alongside them exclusively to find a QUALITY focused Early Childhood Teacher to manage their Kindergarten Room. This role is within a Community-Based not for profit childcare centre located in the Mt Lawley area. This centre creates a comfortable and secure space in which children can play, thrive and grow.
This centre offers developmentally appropriate curriculums in each of their rooms that comply with the requirements set out in the National Quality Standard. It is governed by a Management Committee formed by volunteer parents & community members and is run on a daily basis by their Centre Director. They believe in hiring educators that are professional, skilled, knowledgeable, passionate and creative.
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities and strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Exquisite presentation skills
- Experience and practice of Reggio Emilia inspired curriculums
- Demonstrated commitment to Early Childhood Education profession including sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and its practical application in the Long Daycare (LDC) environment.
- Substantial experience working in a LDC environment with an understanding of the business aspects of Centre performance.
- Current Working with Children Check, Police Clearance, First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates.
