Job tasks and responsibilities
You are:
- Passionate and dedicated person that base your practice on current research, recommendation and theories.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in your leadership skills
- Confident in leading a change
- An advocate for providing high quality education and care for all children
- Effective, efficient and reliable
- Good administrative skills, inc. computer and organisational skills
Skills and experience
Selection Criteria:
- You will have an appropriate Early Childhood Teaching qualification (or actively working towards as per ACECQA approved qualifications).
- Experience in a genuine play based working environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to Early Childhood Education profession including sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and its practical application in the Long Daycare (LDC) environment.
- Previous experience working in an LDC Early Childhood Environment.
- Ability to guide and mentor staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – and able to build strong relationships.
- Demonstrated experience that you are proactive in supporting and implementing curriculum.
- Dedicated to developing the future of children and your colleagues.
- Current Working with Children's Check, Police Clearance, First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates.
Desirable Criteria:
- A sense of fun and willingness to think outside the box.
- An ability to support online learning journey tools (eg StoryPark).
