We are currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher at Future Super Stars Sunshine to assist in leading a team to help children become confident, independent learners who will develop a strong sense of self-worth, enabling them to make positive life choices.
The position is for our 40 place Early Learning Centre in Sunshine in a 3 to 5 year old Kinder room, with an opportunity to join a great team of loving, passionate and committed people.
If successful you will be focusing on the 4 year old Kindergarten program with a Diploma assistant assisting you with the 3 year old program.

Key Selection Criteria
- Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification.
- Have experience as an early childhood teacher within an early childhood service would be an advantage.
- Must hold a current VIT card.
- A strong knowledge of the NQS & EYLF.
- A strong knowledge of child protection legislation & implications and workplace health & safety legislation and issues.
- Have a passion and enthusiasm for caring and educating young children.
- Hold a current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Social skills to collaborate and be integrated with work colleagues.
- Desire to never stop learning.
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
- Some knowledge about the Reggio Emilia Philosophy will be an advantage.
Your Role
- Implementation and evaluation of appropriate programs for children.
- Monitoring and guiding all children through play-based learning
- Documenting children's progress
- Liaising with families about the progress of their child
- Parent-teacher conferences for the children due to attend Prep the following year.
- Transition reports
- Working in a team with an assistant
