We are passionate about promoting South Australia as a destination for international students, however we also assist students with enrolments to several institutions around Australia. We play a major role in peoples lives by helping and guiding them achieve their dreams through education.
About the role
RESPONSIBILITIES
- engage with our students and other international students in Australia to promote our services.
- Provide students with information and advice on study opportunities and visa applications in Australia
- Submit applications to institutions, obtain offers and facilitate enrolments
- Follow up potential students and maximise conversion of students submitting applications and finalise their enrolment
- Assist students with their on-going needs and issues
- Handling of student applications and managing the process until enrolment and completion of the degree.
- Follow our process to record and update all interactions with students and applications, follow through on students' enquiries and applications
- Continually develop student visa and course/college information and knowledge base and update and maintain information materials related to institutions
- Attend to student enquiries (face-to-face, phone and email) in a timely and professional manner
- Follow through on student enquiries, requests or complaints and provide information and assistance as required.
- organise in-house information sessions where students can meet institutions and get their questions answered.
- Assist in the organising and managing of events such as university sessions, cultural events, get togethers.
- Keep informed of updates and changes related to the business and share knowledge and market information with team members.
- Provide input on marketing activities to promote our services
- Manage team members' work and files during their absence
- Build good working relationships with our branch network counsellors and marketing and admissions staff from institutions
- Be consistently and highly professional at work
- Adhere to our policies and procedures and Code of Conduct
Requirements
- Working experience in the industry a must
- Fluent in English and Chinese
- Customer service oriented
- Sales Focused
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High level of problem solving and negotiation skills
- Understand needs and issues of on-shore international students
- Completed Bachelor Degree or an equivalent amount of experience/education
