CENTRE DIRECTOR
NOMINATED SUPERVISOR
We are seeking an enthusiastic, outcome focused person to run our well-established Child Care Centre & Kindergarten in Victoria Point. Our current Director is retiring after a long period of service. We believe in employing the right person and allowing them to run the centre day to day.
We have established systems and processes and you'll have appropriate administrative support. The Centre has 5 rooms from babies to Kindergarten (QKFS Approved) and runs an off-site Bush Kindergarten Program for 3-5s.
If you fulfil the following requirements, we’d like to hear from you.
- At least 5 years experience as a Director of Long Day Care Centre
- Able to start from mid to late August 2018
- A working knowledge of the NQF, QKLG, EYLF and current industry best practices,
- Strong leadership qualities, be able to motivate and inspire staff, and exercise good interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Be able to manage their time effectively and have well developed organisational skills.
- Proactive in addressing issues/problems
- A professional level of written communication skills.
Knowledge of and experience using childcare software is essential (we use QikKids) including a good understanding of CCSS/CCMS processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood (or suitable equivalent)
- Current Valid Blue card
- Current CPR and First Aid inclusive of Asthma & Anaphylaxis Emergency Management
- Current Child Protection training
