Ingles Street Early Learning & Kinder is now recruiting for an experienced Leading Educator to join the team and help implement Educational Programs in line with the EYLF as well as the Reggio Emilia Philosophy.
Specifically we are looking for an experienced room leader who has a passion for creating inspiring learning environments for children and incorporate open ended materials to maximise learning opportunities throughout play.
We are a purpose built centre with a commitment to growing our relationships within the wider community.
This position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday through to Friday.
Your Responsibilities:
- Create and implement educational programs for individuals and groups of children using online systems
- Provide exceptional leadership and guidance to Educator Assistants to successfully implement and reflect on the educational programs
- Provide learning opportunities for all children through the use of intentional teaching and play based learning
- Supervise, interact and engage with all children and families, building meaningful relationships
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Team Leader in the Childcare industry
- A passion for Early Education and Care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build meaningful relationship with children and families
- A solid grasp of Reggio Emilia and the concepts of Play Based Learning
- A current Working With Children Check
- First aid certificate – HLTAID004
