The Opportunity
Laboratory for Simulation and Modelling of Particulate Systems (SIMPAS) is the main body of the ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hub for Computational Particle Technology (CPT), which commenced since late 2016. Reporting to the director of SIMPAS, the focus of this role will be performing market research, IT support, and liaising with industrial partners locally and internationally. The role will also involve some administrative duties to support the daily operation of SIMPAS and CPT Hub including facilitating communications with stakeholders, organising symposiums, project documentation, as well as administrative assistance for the research staff and post graduate students.
To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in co-ordinating various events, excellent communication skills and strong language abilities to work within a team environment. The ability to prioritise work and manage multiple deadlines will also assist you to succeed in this role.
