Coolibah Herbs is a large, and well respected, salad, herb and vegetable grower located in Melbourne's South East.
About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a full time Quality Control Assistant to join our team.
Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that all quality standards are met.
Your tasks will include, but not limited to:
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspections of products and materials
- Monitor requirements of the Quality System including work instructions and recording of quality information
- Record test results, observations, measurements and corrective actions
- Identify where there is non-compliance that is outside standards
- Help implement and evaluate quality assurance policies
- Document internal audits and quality assurance activities
- Ensure a high standard of house keeping
- Adhoc duties
Skills and experience
You will be required to work a 10 day fortnight with a rotating roster of Monday to Friday & Tuesday to Saturday.
To be successful in this position you must have Tertiary Qualifications in Food Technology or Food Science.
If you have previous experience as a Quality Control Assistant within the food manufacturing industry with excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as well as basic to intermediate computer literacy, then we would like to hear from you!
