Reporting to the End to End Projects Manager, the primary focus for this role is to proactively manage national Supply Chain projects across the Distribution Centre network; optimizing safety and improving service and cost. This role will see you working closely with key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and adhering to our Kmart Business strategy. Key responsibilities of this role will include;

  • Accountability for the initiation, trial, test, build, implementation and successful delivery of strategic and operational project life cycle
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation using Kmart governance systems, tools and techniques
  • Understand and manage the projects to optimise safety, service and cost improvements
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders

To be considered for this great opportunity, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience;

  • Strong Project Management background, or demonstrable experience having delivered large scale, integrated Supply Chain programs in a complex business environment
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management across diverse functions with ability to effectively develop and maintain relationships across all areas of the business
  • You will have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create and convey clear and realistic plans while collaboratively working with others to help them understand what needs to be done.
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with experience in Lean CI Methodology (highly favourable)
  • Positively contributing to an enjoyable and high-performing culture
