The Role
The official title of the role is Operation Finance Coordinator. This role reports directly to the Sea Freight Manager.
Some responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Workflow reporting
- Processing FAK containers and working with the unpack depot on timeslots and unpack dates
- Accepting and posting creditors invoice (agents, carriers, etc…)
- Making COD payments
- Ensuring EDO's are received in a timely manner
- Customer Invoicing
- Liaison with other departments on ongoing issues
- Reviewing financial reports
- Closing off jobs
Requirements for the Role
Our Melbourne team consists of a positive group of individuals with the desire to continue challenging themselves in an ever growing performance based culture. We are searching for like for like individuals to join us, develop with us and be part of our growing business for the long term. It's essential you have 2+ years of Import freight forwarding experience
- 2+ years Imports Operations
- Preferably worked with EDI and Expedient
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Integrity and a can do attitude
- Desire to grow and develop
