Well established Australian Agricultural company is looking to secure a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their dedicated team. Reporting to the Business Development Manager - Trade Product, you will be joining a professional and dynamic team. Your responsibilities will be to drive the flow of traded products, this will involve administering the supply and delivery of traded goods in a timely manner. Responsibilities will not be limited to; efficiently selecting costs associated with the process, managing the documentation in preparation and coordinating and processing shipments from and to local and overseas destinations.
The role will work with Operations, Warehousing and sales; while developing service agreements for the international transportation and clearance of materials to and from Australia and from different suppliers and customers. You will also be managing activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing or receiving. Specifically, you will be selecting transportation routes and costs to maximize economy, managing prices and terms with vendors and or freight forwarders and meeting freight forwarders to discuss forecasts or changes. Other responsibilities will include receipting of shipping documents, compiling of documentation, tracking production schedules, and coordinating of shipping containers.
To be considered for this role, you will have previously worked as a Supply Chain Coordinator and bring relevant experience within a busy distribution operation. As an experienced candidate, you will be organised, methodical/systematic and have outstanding communication skills with the ability to learn quickly. You will have a can-do attitude with great attention to detail and an ability to follow instructions.
