THE ROLE
We are seeking a heavy vehicle driver / yard hand to perform essential community services, throughout Mount Isa and the surrounding areas. The role requires the successful applicant to operate a range of heavy vehicles in a professional manner along with completing on site tasks as directed by the operations supervisor. All J.J. Richards drivers are expected to maintain high standards of truck cleanliness, contribute to a positive professional driving culture and proactively contribute to organisational safety goals.
THE CANDIDATE
- Must be an experienced vehicle operator with current MR, HR or HC licence
- Current Fork Lift License
- Experience in general maintenance, welding, fabrication an advantage
- Have a good knowledge of the Mount Isa area
- Commit to J.J. Richards values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity
- Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer service
- Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
- All applications must be accompanied by a 10 year QLD Roads Driving Record at interview stage
