This meat company is looking for a dynamic and proven project engineer to join their team. Continued growth and expansion has now generated this new opportunity


Role

• Identify new project opportunities for operational improvements. 
• Prepare potential project for approval, including costs. 
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard, consistency of work quality and that all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards, workplace procedures.
• Strong teamwork skills and have the ability to manage and lead.
• Prepare cost benefit analysis and project charter for new projects.
• Manage assigned work to meet project needs and deadlines.

Person

• Relevant engineering qualifications. 
• Upwards of 2-5 years of experience. 
• Mechanical manufacturing process improvement experience. 
• Manufacturing food/drink experience preferred. 
• Working knowledge and understanding of relevant Australian building codes and standards.
• Excellent team work and communication skills
