My client is a leader in the field of precision injection molding. It is currently looking for a quality assurance officer with at least 5 years practical experience in a fast paced precision manufacturing environment. In this role you will provide daily support and guidance to the Quality and Production Departments and be a passionate advocate of the companies quality vision and continuous improvement initiatives.
The primary functions of this role are as follows:
Quality Department support in the following areas
- Laboratory (factory floor presence, routine testing, validations, gauge design and maintenance, SQC pack)
- QA/QC (NCR, Sampling)
- Business systems (FSSC, ISO22000, ISO9001, Internal audits, customer audits)
- PRP's support
- Customer complaints support
- Document Control support
Manufacturing support
- Validation of new products or processes
- Validation of modified tooling
- Training of operators
You will also need to be practical and customer aware being able to make practical decisions by applying a balanced approach.
Suitably qualified and experienced individuals with relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, plastics or chemistry should consider applying.
People with experience outside the FMCG industry, for example automotive component supply should also consider applying.
