Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Manager with Agriculture background
Your new company

Your new role
You will be responsible for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality across all Australia’s business activities. You will focus on performing Audits, Workplace checks and developing improvement proposals and ensuring compliance to regulatory requirements. You will be ensuring food/feed safety, HACCP, QMS, Feedsafe and legislation compliance and be the first point of contact for all internal sectors regarding SHEQ.
- Develop, implement and maintain an integrated robust management system incorporating occupational Safety, Health and environmental activities across all sites
- Responsible for delivering HSE improvements in the division and provide support to relevant site personnel.
- Develop, implement and maintain all quality policies and procedures across all sites in accordance with Feedsafe, HACCP, GMP and business standards
- Ensure compliance of all local laws and regulations and business policies and procedures relating to manufacturing are rigorously adhered to at all times.
What you’ll need to succeed
This role will require you to be based in Melbourne’s Western suburbs with the expectation of travelling to business sites up to 90% of the time.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in SHEQ positions within the manufacturing sector, preferably agriculture.
- Proven people management and development experience within production environment.
- Ability to communicate and relate to personnel at all levels and provide training as required
- A high level of initiative, self-motivation and decision-making capacity
- Skills relating to production management, process control, plant maintenance and plant efficiency and continuous improvement
- Exposure to food safety principles across production activities including HACCP, GMP, Feedsafe and ISO
- Knowledge of Safety/Quality Management Systems.
- Microsoft computer literacy across all programs.
