Total Work Solutions is now seeking a Machine Operator. Our client is a leader in the truck manufacturing industry, due to its continuous growth it is now looking at growing its dynamic team!. 

The Role:

1. Operates bandsaw to cut metal pieces to required length for subsequent processing
2. Reads job order to determine length of material required
3. Secures material as required prior to cutting action
4. Closes safety cover and depresses controls to start saw
5. Removes sawed material from saw at end of cutting cycle
6. Measures cut material to verify conformance with job order
7. Replace worn or damaged saw blade, using hand tools
8. Cleans work area in a safe manner
9. Records specified data on production report
10. May assist maintenance personnel with saw maintenance and repair
