About the business

Country Valley, has a warehouse outlet in Hume ACT from which we distribute our dairy products.  We have been operating in the ACT since 2009 and are looking to expand our turnover and significantly grow our business. 

About the role

Initially we would employ you as a full time delivery driver to learn the job with a view to creating a contract position using either our truck or purchasing your own and earning a percentage of gross weekly sales.  We will provide sales and administration support with a view to significantly growing our sales and we need the right person to assist us with this. Start time is 4am, working Monday to Friday.  If you decide to purchase your own vehicle there may be other opportunities to work with us in relation to bulk collection of products from our processing plant located in Picton NSW for delivery to Hume, and to rent the vehicle to us for Saturday work, providing an even better return on your investment.

Although initially this will be an offer of employment, we feel that the negotiated transition to a contract driver within a few months will provide a worthwhile increase in income immediately with the opportunity to earn more as we work to grow the sales and increase customer satisfaction. 

Skills and experience

Minimum requirement is an LR truck licence.  You will also need to be outgoing, friendly, organised, have good communication skills, be a team player, be physically capable of constantly lifting 20kg crates, have excellent customer service skills and be keen to work hard and help us grow our business.
