The Role

In this role you will be responsible for managing the supply chain of the site to ensure customer satisfaction (material availability), while contributing to profitability improvement in terms of inventory and Supply Chain costs.
 

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop Supply Chain performance through the improvement of processes, IT tools, competencies and KPI in coordination with local Operations and Maintenance Central Supply Chain /Industrialization that support the projects objectives.
• Manage Material planning, Procurement, Inventory, Warehousing and Logistics activities.
• Define and manage material planning & Inventory activities in coordination with local Industrialization and Engineering.
• Define and manage external and internal Procurement and Supplier Relationship activities in coordination with Sourcing.
• Develop annual budgets (Resources and Inventory) and appropriate organisational structure that support the activities.

To be successful it would be desirable to have:

• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or Engineering.
•  3 years Supply Chain operational experience.
• Operational experience within an international industrial company
• Rail industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Exposure using SAP or other MRP/ ERP software is required.
