Our client is a leader in the plasma protein therapeutics industry. Committed to saving lives and improving the quality of life for people with rare and serious diseases, CSL Behring manufactures and markets a range of plasma-derived and recombinant therapies worldwide.

CSL Behring products are also used in cardiac surgery, organ transplantation, burn treatment and to prevent hemolytic diseases in the newborn.

Due to continued company growth we are now recruiting for highly motivated candidates with production experience to assist in the manufacturing process within the Broadmeadows site.

This assignment will give you the experience of working for a company that is known to be a leader in their field.

Some of the key responsibilities of this position are:

• Complete all tasks in accordance with Cgmp, HS&E and in house Quality Management System requirements.
• Completion of batch documentation
• Prepare equipment used in the process, this includes intermediate bottles, fittings, filters and machine parts. This will include using automated and manual washing equipment and integrity testing of filters.
• Repetitive manual handling of plasma products in cool a room environment.
• Quality checks and inspections for defects.
• Labeling, documentation and packing along conveyor belts.
• Routine cleaning of plant and production work areas
• Solution preparation
  
  To be considered for these roles you will need to meet the following criteria and have the following skills and attributes:
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Excellent computer skills
• Must have a positive attitude towards work and take direction from supervisors
• The position will require you to be available for 20-30 hours per week. Some overtime, shift and weekend work may be required.
• Perform your daily duties consistent with company values: Customer Focus, Innovation, Integrity, Collaboration and Superior Performance.
• Must be reliable and trustworthy.
• Must undergo a police check
• Must be willing to undergo Serology testing (screening for Hepatitis B Surface Antibodies, Hepatitis B Surface Antigens, Hepatitis C Antibodies and HIV 1/2 Antibodies) Individuals must: return negative values for Hepatitis B Antigens, Hepatitis C Antibodies and HIV Antibodies; and either demonstrate sufficient Hepatitis B immunity (i.e. Hepatitis B Surface Antibody result greater than 10IU/L) or have commenced an appropriate Hepatitis B vaccination schedule - All staff will be required to undergo mandatory periodical Hepatitis B Antigen*, Hepatitis C Antibody and HIV 1/2 Antibody screens returning negative values every two years (*Hepatitis B Antigen screen not required where sufficient Hepatitis B immunity has been demonstrated).
