My client is seeking an experienced Sourcing professional with a manufacturing background to help them deliver a major procurement transformation project across the wider business.

My client is a multi-site international manufacturer with a strong presence across Australasia. They have a high performance culture, and have grown via organic growth as well as through acquisition. They have a diverse portfolio of companies and produce a wide variety of well recognised consumer products.
Description
This is a new position within the group, reporting into the Group Manager Procurement for Strategic Sourcing, and is focused on delivering a procurement transformation program across the group.
Your main tasks will be helping to develop supply chain and procurement strategies, lead project execution teams, provide advice and support, facilitate workshops, and identify technology platform optimisation opportunities.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified, with hands on experience working within the manufacturing, FMCG or retail industries, ideally with strong sourcing and procurement process improvement experience.
You would have strong project management experience, excellent cross functional stake holder management skills, and good communication skills.
