The purpose of this position is to provide Food Safety and Quality leadership to Tip Top's Southern Region - Bendigo & Dandenong in Victoria , Adelaide and Western Region - Perth. The role can be based at either Dandenong or Dry Creek (Adelaide). This position reports directly to the Head of Quality & Regulatory Affairs - ANZ.
This role is responsible for providing Food Safety & Quality leadership to the South Western sites driving Food Safety & Quality Cultural change, maintaining food safety and quality standards and driving Tip Top's strategic initiatives.
The position will include the following responsibilities
Leadership - Demonstrate constructive leadership, building a team of accountable people who can deliver the business goals.
Role model the GWF behaviours, coach and proactively manage performance of the team
Stakeholder Management - Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders cross functionally and divisionally.
Liaise effectively with customers including Retail (Major supermarkets) and Foodservice.
Programs and Systems - Continue to improve Food Safety & Quality Programs to deliver safe and consistent quality food, drive Food Safety & Quality Cultural change and lead Tip Top Balance Business Plan strategic initiatives implementation.
You will ideally be able to offer the following
- Tertiary Qualifications or Post Graduate level in related Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or Equivalent
- Food industry experience-ideally 10+ years, preferably multiple sites
- Track record of leading Food Safety & Quality Cultural change.
- Knowledgeable of GFSI recognised standards, retailer standards (WW, COLES, ALDI, etc.) and Australia Food Standards.
- Track record of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in leading teams across multiple sites.
- Track record of stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally.
