Kelly Services are working with one of the world’s largest Off-the-Road tyre companies who are continuously expanding their operations. With a focus to facilitate the and cultivate that growth for the business, they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Product Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will provide technical and product support to customers on site and with a focus on strong customer support to maintain and develop high level field support for Tyre and Belt Sales. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development and maintenance of a practical and proactive ‘customer first’ mindset that is appropriate for all internal and external customers
- Identify and evaluate business opportunities and customer's needs and support the Sales Personnel to optimise customer tyre selection and satisfy their requirements
- Plan and conduct field tests for new and current products and present technical information to customers and Sales team members
- Be innovative in adapting engineering principals to new issues by identifying new and improved opportunities for OTR Tyres
- Monitor and maintain tyre performance guarantees and product warranties and troubleshoot all technical enquiries from Customers and Sales team members
- Adhere to the HSEQ obligations as defined for the role
Attributes required to be considered for this position:
- Excellent communication (verbal / written) and strong customer support experience
- Demonstrated and articulate problem solving, organisational and planning skills
- Demonstrated ability of being proactive and responsive in a timely & efficient manner
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft applications (specifically MS Excel)
- Engineering or technical background (within mining or heavy equipment industry - desirable)
- Engineering/Technical qualification or degree (desirable)
